REAGEN^?Sulfonamide ELISA TestKit is acompetitive enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative analysis of sulfonamide in feed, fish, eggs,honey, meat (beef, chicken and pork), milk, milk powder, serum, shrimp andurine.

The unique features of the kit are:

Procedure Overview

The method is based on acompetitive colorimetric ELISA assay. The plate wells are coated withcapture antibodies directed against anti- sulfonamide antibodies. Sulfonamidestandards or sample solution, sulfonamide–HRP conjugateand anti-sulfonamide antibodies are added. Free sulfonamide and sulfonamide-HRPConjugate compete for the sulfonamide antibody binding sites. At the same time,the anti- sulfonamide antibodies are also bound by the immobilized captureantibodies. Any unbound sulfonamide-HRP Conjugate is then removed in a washingstep. The TMB Substrate is added to the wells. The resulting colorintensity, after addition of substrate, has an inverse relationship with thetarget concentration in the sample.
